Alice D. Pyle died as she lived, with her devoted husband holding her hand and daughters worshiping our Lord to carry her home on the morning of Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at her home in Johnson City, Texas.

Alice was born November 28, 1929 in San Antonio, Texas to Santos DeLeon and Martha LaPlata DeLeon.  She was preceded in death by her parents, three siblings, Ernest DeLeon, Soccoro Robles, and Richard DeLeon.

Alice is survived by her husband of 65 years, Samuel George Pyle, Sr.; five children, Gloria Bauer and husband Dave, Debbie Demmick, Mary Pyle, Anita Pyle Cain and husband Richard, Samuel George Pyle, Jr., and Traci Smith and husband Doug; grandchildren, Sam Demmick, Gabe Dell, Alexis Leigh, Nick Cain, Elaina Cain, Juliana Pyle, Kendra Fisher, and Dooley Smith; great grand-daughter, Harper Dell; sisters, Mary Louise Johnson and Mary Enriquez and niece Sylvia Enriquez.

Alice was a devout member of St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Stonewall, Texas where she was also a member of The St. Rose Society.

Visitation will be 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM Sunday, March 21, 2021 with a Rosary beginning at 7:00 PM at Crofts – Crow Funeral Home in Johnson City.  Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 PM Monday, March 22, 2021 at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church, Stonewall, Texas.  Interment will follow in Our Lady of Guadalupe Cemetery in Stonewall, Texas
