Aline Offer Slack, 92, passed away surrounded by her family October 29, 2015 in Waco, Texas.

Aline was born March 24, 1923 in Aransas Pass, Texas to Eunice Maley Offer and Edwin Joseph Offer. She was preceded in death by her husband John R. Slack, her parents and her sisters Laura Grace Offer and Joyce Offer Hunt. She is survived by her bother E.J. Offer and wife Dorothy formerly of Marble Falls, sister, Nancy Lowe and husband George of Austin, nieces and nephews, step-daughter, Linda Slack Hugghins and husband Tommie of Waco, grandchildren Taryn Hugghins Carter of Prosper, John Brian Hugghins of Mansfield, and great grandchildren Lily, Cade, and Jax.

Aline was salutatorian of her graduating class in Ingleside, Texas. She loved The LORD and was an active member of the Methodist Church in Johnson City and Marble Falls. She enjoyed cooking, crossword puzzles, football games, politics, and won many awards with her African violets she nurtured as her hobby.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday, November 2, 2015 at Round Mountain Cemetery, Round Mountain, TX with Rev. Lee Romero officiating.
