Allen Ray "Al" Heimer , a life-long resident of Blanco, TX passed away February 4, 2023 in San Antonio, TX.  Al was born February 19, 1934, to Edgar L. and Erna L. Heimer.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his beloved wife, Patsy "Pat" Beasley Heimer; son, Michael W. Heimer; brother, Lyndon N. Heimer; and sister, Estelle Harbers.

Al is survived by his two daughters, Carol Jean Wisniewski and Dawn Nickols; six grandchildren, Michael Allen Heimer (Melanie), Jennifer Myracle (Scott), Katlyn Heimer, James Scott Wisniewski (Lauren), Michael Lynn Nickols (Veronica), and Gabrielle Nesburg (Sean).  He is also survived by eight great grandchildren, Cameron, Raylan, Owen, Mason, Brooklyn, Baylee, Wesley, Clayton and many other relatives and dear friends.

Al graduated from Blanco High School, received his Bachelor of Arts degree from SMU and his degree in Electrical Engineering from Texas A&M University. He then proudly served his country with the U.S. Army.

Mr. Heimer held many positions throughout his career for various companies such as GE, Texas Instruments, and DataPoint. He later semi-retired to a consulting position covering Texas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, February 10, 2023 at the Historic Blanco Cemetery, Blanco, TX with Rev. Carlos Cloyd officiating.
