Anita Carvajal , 70, passed away on Saturday, August 11, 2018, at her home in Blanco.

Anita was born on March 10, 1948, in San Antonio, Texas, to Annie E. Flores Carvajal and Alfred Z. Carvajal.  She retired after a career as a technician with AT&T and with Sprint.  Anita was a member of St. Ferdinand Catholic Church in Blanco.  She loved to fish and was a competitive racquetball player. Through the years she won many tournaments, making numerous friends along the way.  A devoted daughter, she took great care of her parents in later years and loved her family dearly.

Survivors include her siblings, Monica E. Dovalina and her husband Albert of Richmond, Texas, Jerry Carvajal and his wife Kay of Houston, Anthony B. Carvajal and his wife Rachel of Spring Branch, Paul Carvajal and his wife Karen also of Spring Branch, eight nieces, four nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews whom she loved as if they were her own children and grandchildren.  She is preceded in death by her parents and her brother, Oscar Carvajal.

A visitation will take place from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. Friday, September 7, 2018, at Crofts-Crow Funeral Home concluding with recitation of the rosary at 7:00 p.m.  A Celebration of Life Memorial Mass will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, September 8, 2018, at St. Ferdinand Catholic Church in Blanco.  Burial will immediately follow.
