She was raised in Blanco and graduated from Blanco High School. Anna married her high school sweetheart, Charles R. Jones. She and Charles owned and operated the flower shop for over 20 years, the liquor store for over 30 years, CJ's Food Plaza, and Blanco General Feed Store & Convenience Store. Anna served 17 years as a PTO Room Mother, as well as on the youth sale committee for 30 years.
Anna Lee was preceded in death by her parents, Oscar and Ida Pehl, and her husband of 54 years, Charles Rodney Jones. She is survived by her son, Charles Michael Jones and wife Susan; her daughter, Sandra Ann Jones – Gustafson; brother, Thomas Pehl; sister, Ruby Duecker; 7 grandchildren, Justin R. Mrs. Jones was a very caring and supportive lady. She never missed a sporting event, stock show, or awards program. She never missed an opportunity to help out with children or grandchildren events or activities. Anna Lee was also one of the most well-known ladies in the community and certainly one of the hardest working. She was always in good spirits with a smile on her face.
