Anthony Joe Reinart of Hye, TX passed away at his home Monday, August 10, 2020.  Anthony was born September 14, 1960 in Hereford, TX to Leander John Reinart, Sr. and Clara Stengel Reinart.

Tony grew up in Hereford, TX graduating in 1979.  He tried the farming life but decided it wasn't for him. He graduated from TSTI and worked for BASF in Lake Jackson, TX as an Instrument Specialist until he moved to his ranch in Hye, TX.  He was a simple man who liked hunting, fishing, and talking politics.

Tony was preceded in death by his father, Leander Reinart, Sr.  He is survived by his mother, Clara Reinart; seven siblings, Juanita Newsom of Amarillo, TX, Loraine Anthony and husband Dennis of Friona, TX, Leander Reinart, Jr. and wife Reta of Hereford, TX, Bryan Reinart and wife Donna of Dimmitt, TX, Rex Reinart of Hereford, TX, Alice Peters of Aurora, IL, and Elaine Marino and husband Morrie of Batavia, IL; fifteen nieces and nephews and ten great nieces and nephews.  Tony will also be missed by his close friends John and Marsha Wagner as well as other relatives and dear friends.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, August 17, 2020 at Crofts – Crow Funeral Home in Johnson City with Tony's best friend John Wagner officiating.
