Armando Pacheco of Blanco, Texas passed away August 17, 2018. Armando was born January 10, 1958 in San Antonio, Texas to Miguel and Tomasa Pacheco. Armando graduated from Blanco High School class of 1976 and immediately joined the United States Marine Corps. He was honorably discharged August 13, 1985.
Armando was preceded in death by his mother; nephew, Fernando Paul Flores and his uncle, Ben Saucedo. He is survived by his father, brother Joe Pacheco, three sisters, Maria Ramirez and husband Jay, Rosie Rios, and Rosaura Rios and husband Sylvester. He is also survived by his nieces, Patty Ingram and husband Derrick, Jessica Pacheco and husband Mark, Monica Rios, Amanda Mize and husband Jesse, Jessie Bishop and husband Justin, three nephews, John Pacheco, Mike Rios and wife Mia, and Jay Thomas Ramirez and wife Brianna along with numerous great-nieces and nephews.
Armando was known for his contagious smile, comical personality, and generous heart. When he would receive a call to help, he would drop everything with no hesitation. He loved to play co-ed softball and enjoyed all his teammates. He enjoyed traveling with his Dad and his beloved dog, George, to breakfast at El Charros Blanco, traveling to high school football games on Friday nights and going to get their hair cuts at the Poteet Flea Market. Armando appreciates everyone he met during his life here on earth.
"Semper Fi" the motto of the US Marine Corps, was how Armando lived his life.
Visitation will be 1:00 PM – 3:00 PM, Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Liberty Lighthouse Fellowship, 321 Old River Crossing, Johnson City, TX where funeral services will begin at 3:00 PM with Pastor Jim Boatright officiating.
