Benjamin Lee Boyer of Johnson City, Texas went to be with his Lord and Savior on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 in Austin, TX with his family at his side.

Ben was born June 28, 1974 in Superior, WI to Fred and Sharon Boyer.  He was raised in Phoenix, AZ where he graduated from Deer Valley High School, Class of 1992.  Ben received his Bachelor of Arts degree at Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA.  It was during his college years that Ben met Kelly and they married in 1998. They started their life together in Phoenix AZ eventually moving to Texas in 2007.  Ben's professional expertise was in Information Technology and he was currently working for the Bank of Austin.

Ben is survived by his devoted wife, Kelly, and their three children, Cade, Mya and Lauryn; his parents, Fred and Sharon Boyer; brother, Paul Boyer and wife Beth; Mother and father-in-law, Jack and Kathy Moore; in-law siblings Katie and Chris Fisher, Craig and Jenna Moore and Cortney Moore; niece and nephews, Mark, Huck, Suade, and George.  Ben is also survived by his life-long friend, Jon Hayes.

Ben will be remembered for his quiet spirit and unwavering dedication to his family. He could fix anything and built almost every project Kelly came up with. Ben loved watching his kids play sports. Whether it was coaching baseball or softball, cheering them on, running chains, blowing up a tunnel, or umpiring….he loved it all! He was a humble man with a gentle giving heart.  He loved to laugh and was always a loyal friend.  Ben was just one of the "good guys!" Above all, Ben was a true man of God.

A celebration of Ben's life will be held at 4:30 PM, Sunday, April 28, 2024, at Johnson City H.O.M.E. Church, 405 US-281, Johnson City, TX 78636.
