Bennie Len Hudson , 61, of Johnson City, Texas went to be with our Lord on December 20, 2022. Bennie grew up in Bee Cave, Texas and attended Dripping Springs school, graduating in May 1979. He became a Mason at the age of 21, was raised in Rambo #426, Dripping Springs. He was an endowed member of several Lodges and Past Master of all seven Lodges in District 52.  He was known as Brother Large by many Lodge brothers. He was the large brother in overalls with a walking stick.

He is preceded in death by his precious daughter Cassandra (Cassie) Len Hudson, his parents William (Cotton) and Doris (Dot) Hudson, his brother Allen J. Hudson, his nieces Heather Hudson and Kara Whitaker Hudson, many aunts, uncles and cousins.

He is survived by his brothers Albert Hudson his wife Diane, John Hudson his wife Sharon, Delton Hudson his wife Cindi, Walter Hudson his wife Lori and sister Connie Hudson Bissonnet her husband Barry. Many nieces and nephews as well as great nieces and nephews.

Bennie was an exceptional man. He loved his masonry work and lodge brothers, enjoyed his pheasant hunting trips and family. He was a large man and leaves a large hole in the lives of his loved ones. Gone too soon but will not be forgotten.

The family would like to thank the healthcare teams at Highland Lakes Seton, the Star Flight crew and Dell Seton ICU for the excellent care given to Bennie after his massive stroke on December 5, 2022.

The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 on Tuesday, December 27th at Crofts-Crow Funeral Home at 305 E. Elm, Johnson City.

The graveside service will be held on Wednesday morning, December 28th at 11:00 at the Masonic Cemetery in Johnson City.
