Benny Wayne Fuchs passed away December 28, 2018 in Johnson City, TX at the age of 73 after battling cancer for the past few years.  He was born February 23, 1945 in Blanco, TX to Otto and Edna Mae Fuchs.

After High School in Blanco, Benny joined the U.S. Navy serving two tours in Vietnam.  Following his four years in the Navy, Benny began his professional career as a pipefitter with Dow Chemical.  He then returned to Blanco to establish his own business as a plumber and handyman.

Benny was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Joe Bill Fuchs; and a nephew Cory Fuchs.  He is survived by five siblings, Jimmy Fuchs and wife Jean, Carrol Fuchs and wife Catalina, Linda Blanchard, Wanda Fuchs and husband John Sanders, and Donna Ledvina; six nieces and nephews; numerous great nieces and nephews; and one great great nephew.

A graveside service will be held at 1:30 PM, Wednesday, January 2, 2019 at Blanco Historic Cemetery.  Immediately following the burial, a celebration of life will be held at the Blanco Bowling Alley.
