Betty Elane Barth, age 78 of Comanche, Texas passed into heaven on June 15, 2014. She was born in Rochelle, Georgia to Horace and Winnie Mae (Hayslip) Crumley on August 10, 1935.
Betty married the love of her life, Robert (Bob) Barth on October 3, 1951. Upon their marriage they moved to Alice, Texas where their two daughters Patsy and Gail were born. Betty's family moved to Johnson City, Texas in 1964, where they resided until Bob's passing in 2006. At that time Betty moved to Comanche, Texas to be near her daughter Patsy.
Betty, who was of the Christian faith, always treasured her family and friendships. Her greatest joy was her family! Throughout her life she gathered many dear friends.
Betty is survived by her daughters Patsy and husband Randy Martin of Comanche, TX, and Gail Walz of Weatherford, TX; Grandchildren: Mark Terry and wife Rachael; Amy Walz; Megan Cottrell and husband Jimmy; Genny Baccus and husband Jason and Jake Martin; Great Grandchildren: Trace, Ty and Taylor Terry; Kaitlyn and Madison Cottrell; Nathaniel and Malcolm Hutchins; Trey and Derek Martin; one sister Joyce and husband Carl Musselwhite of Cordele, GA; three brothers: Ralph and wife Gail Crumley of Columbus GA; Bobby Crumley of Cordele, GA; Dwain and wife Doris of Cordele, GA. and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Proceeded in death by her husband; her parents; one sister Sandy Beasley and two brothers James Horace and Jerrell Crumley.
Visitation will be at Crofts-Crow Funeral Home in Johnson City, TX. From 6-8 pm on Thursday, June 19, 2014.
Graveside services will be held at The Masonic Cemetery in Johnson City, TX on Friday, June 20, 2014 at 2:00 PM under the direction of Crofts ? Crow Funeral Home in Johnson City, Texas.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
