Betty Eggers died April 7, 2007 at home in Blanco at the age of 89 years. She was born March 14, 1918 in Brooklyn, New York. She spent her childhood years with her Dad and Sister traveling to The Catskill Mountains, the beaches on Long Island and enjoying New York City. Betty loved to dance and started dance lessons at the age of three. She opened a dance studio with her best friend and became a "Rockett" at Radio City Music Hall in New York City. She married her childhood sweetheart, Buddy Eggers. Betty was a loving, caring mother of six children, grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She enjoyed living in Blanco with friends and family.Betty is survived by her husband, Buddy, 3 sons, Dennis, Kevin, and Harold Eggers and 3 daughters, Nonie Beard, Margaret Nolan, and Kathleen Luckadoo, and 1 sister, Mary Triolo, 15 Grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by daughter, Barbara Gross and sister Patricia Oswald.Rosary for Betty will be said on Wednesday, April 11, 7:00 PM at Crofts Funeral Home. The services will be Thursday, April 12 at the St. Ferdinand's Catholic Church in Blanco. Visitation for Betty will be Wednesday, April 11 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Crofts Funeral Home.The family asks that in remembrance of Betty a gift to the American Cancer Society would be appreciated.
