Betty Lou Scott (Smith) , 82, passed away peacefully December 24, 2017 at her home in Round Mountain, TX, surrounded by her loving family.   She was born in Llano, TX to Ernest Smith and Olga (Dahl) Smith.  Betty was preceded in death by her parents; husband of 58 years, Cecil Joe Scott; sister, Janice Lucas McKee; son, Jerry Scott; daughter, Betty Gale Scott; two grandsons, Lance Scott and Slater Sultemeier.

She is survived by nine children, Ronnie Scott and wife Kassie of Johnson City, Dale Scott and wife DiAnne of Cherokee, Tammy Leach of Round Mountain, Susan Beyer and husband Larry of Fredericksburg, Larry Scott and wife Tina of Johnson City, Barbara Sultemeier and husband Randy of Johnson City, Darren Scott and wife Dana of Beeville, Warren Scott and wife Lesa of Llano and Scott Scott and wife Kimberly of Johnson City; sister, Barbara Reed of Llano; brothers, Johnny Lucas of Buchanan Dam and Pete Smith of Llano. She is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday, December 27, 2017 at 10:00 AM in the Llano City Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
