Billy is survived by daughter Donna Doring Jonas and husband, Maxie, son Alfred Charles Lux and wife Donna, daughter Patricia May Reininger, son Darrel Leroy Lux and wife Michelle, 14 grandchildren, Krissie Jonas Thomson (Ken), Karen Jonas Hill (John), Kim Jonas Cartwright (Nathan), Kevin Jonas (Amber), Kolin Jonas (Rachelle), Douglas Doring (Amanda), Kendall Lux (Odelyn), Valery Lux, Tamra Reininger Garber (Josh), Craig Reininger (Saba), Nicole Reininger Carroll (Chris), Shawn Reininger (Maggie), Aaron Lux (Jessie), Allison Burow (Kyle), 31 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

As a devoted Christian of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, Billy served her community by teaching Sunday School and playing the organ.  She taught her children by word and example to love the Lord their God with all their heart, soul and being.  She was a "prayer warrior" and prayed for her family, many friends and neighbors on a daily basis.  She exemplified the joy of salvation in Jesus Christ.

As a child, Billy and her sister May attended school in San Antonio, Houston and Corpus Christi.  Billy's father, Bill Myers was able to keep his job at Greyhound Bus Lines during the Great Depression.  Throughout the years, music was important in their family, singing while riding in the car and singalongs while gathering around the piano. She continued the family tradition by hosting singalongs in her home for her friends.

During World War II, Billy married Adolphus Doring in Corpus Christi and they had two children, Donna and Adolph Doring.   After her husband's death in service to his country, Billy and her two children moved to her parents' ranch in Kendalia, Texas in 1946.

In 1948, Billy married Alfred Peter "Freddie" Lux and they had three children, Charlie, Patsy and Darrel Lux.  Freddie and Billy engaged in farming and ranching. Through the years, they cultivated a deep and lasting friendship with their hunters.   After Freddie died in 1998, Billy lived the remainder of her life on the Lux Ranch in Kendalia, Texas.

In 1960, Billy began working at the Kendall County Clerk's Office and in 1966, she gained employment at Guadalupe Valley Telephone Coop until her retirement in 1988.  She had many friends and attended the retired ladies luncheons after retirement.  As a member of the Kendalia Community Club, the Kendalia Ladies Club and the Kendalia Volunteer Fire Department she sought to serve her community.

Billy loved her family and friends.  She especially enjoyed family gatherings and collecting pictures of friends on her iPad.  Her grandchildren were very special to her and she made every effort to attend all of their sporting events and activities.  She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
