Bobby D Eiland , a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, peacefully passed away on December 14, 2023 at the age of 94. He was born on February 28, 1929, in Bangs, Texas, to the late William and Nina Eiland.

Bobby was a man known for his unwavering dedication to his family. He is survived by his loving wife of 75 years, Jo Eiland, who stood by his side through thick and thin. Together, they built a life full of cherished memories and shared experiences.

He was a proud father to his daughter, Lisa Leech and husband Tony, his son, Kelly Eiland and wife Dee Dee, who both admired and adored him. Bobby was a guiding light in their lives, providing love, support, and wisdom that will forever be treasured.

Bobby's family was his pride and joy, and he found immense joy in being a grandfather. His grandchildren, Justin Eiland, Amanda Eiland Hicks and husband John, and Ryan Holmesly, brought immeasurable happiness to his life. He took great delight in watching them grow and succeed. His great-grandchildren, Nate Eiland, Westin Eiland, John Lee Hicks, James Hicks, and Anna Jo Hicks were a source of endless joy and laughter for Bobby. He loved spending time with them, creating lasting memories that will be cherished by generations to come.

Throughout his life, Bobby was passionate about serving his country. He proudly served in the United States Air Force, retiring after 30+ years as a Chief Master Sergeant (CMSGT) in the US Air Force (USAF) as a parachute and survival master trainer.

Bobby had a strong faith and was an active member of the Church of Christ. He was deeply involved in his community, serving as a sound truck driver for the Hill Country Trail Ride and a member of the Blanco Search and Rescue team. His willingness to help others will be remembered by all who knew him.
