Little Virgil "Buddy" Wells, 78, passed away peacefully Monday, October 7, 2013 in Austin. He was born April 25, 1935 in Pleasant Hill, TX to Virgil and Clara Felps Wells.
Living in Johnson City, Buddy worked for Texas Parks and Wildlife doing what he loved at Pedernales Falls Sate Park.
He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Nancy Tilley and Emma Lou "Mopey" Adams; brothers, Henry, Ray, and Dub Wells. Buddy is survived by four children, Tina Wiltse and husband David, Stacy Johnson and husband Jerry, Wade and Shane Wells; two sisters, Loetta Wilson, Anna Ruth McCoy, and Florene Standford; eight grandchildren, Lauren, Leslie, Melissa, Sean, Amanda, Jaree, Spencer, and Maddison. He is also survived by two great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Visitation will be 5:00 ? 7:00 PM Wednesday, October 09, 2013 at Crofts ? Crow Funeral Home in Johnson City where funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Thursday morning with Rev. Ernest Topper officiating. Interment will follow in Johnson City Masonic Cemetery
