Carol Ruth Pape , of Canyon Lake, TX passed away Monday morning, March 18, 2019.  Carol was born May 1, 1950 to Albert Lloyd Pape, Jr. & Esther (Westermann) Pape.  A native Texan, Carol attended MacArthur High School and before graduating from Churchill High School.  Carol went on to graduate from the University of Texas.  She began her teaching career with the Northeast San Antonio School District, later working at and retiring from John Glenn Elementary.  Carol touched many lives throughout her career as an educator.

A visitation will be held 5:00 – 7:00 PM Thursday, March 21, 2019 at Crofts – Crow Funeral Home, 911 Mesquite, Blanco, TX 78606.  Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, March 22, 2019 at Sunset Memorial Park, 1701 Austin Hwy, San Antonio, TX 78218.

Survivors include her brother, Albert L. "Butch" Pape, III and his wife Karen of Blanco and their daughter, Amber Huser and her husband Ryan; their children, Bella and Hadley.  Carol was preceded in death by her parents, Esther Westermann Pape and Albert Lloyd Pape, Jr.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 AM, Saturday, March 23, 2019 at St. Andrew Lutheran Church, 7420 FM 2673, Canyon Lake, TX 78133.
