Cecilio Acosta of Blanco passed away Sunday, October 4, 2020 in San Antonio, TX.  Mr. Acosta was born November 22, 1937 in Santa Maria de la Paz, Zacatecas, Mexico to Jesus Cruz Acosta and Maria Isabel (Cabral) Acosta.

Cecilio was preceded in death by his parents, Jesus & Maria Acosta and brother, Jose Acosta.  He is survived by devoted wife of 57 years, Lorenza Acosta; six children, Teresa "Teri" Acosta, Gabriela Brinkman and husband Steve, Alfonso and wife Kim, Cesar Acosta, Cecilio Acosta, Jr., and Anna Acosta; nine siblings, Ma. Elena Acosta, Enrique Acosta, Maria Acosta, Fortino Acosta, Chabelo Acosta, Manuel Acosta, Monica Acosta, Rodrigo Acosta, and Monserat Acosta; also by fifteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.  Mr. Acosta will also be missed by many other loving relatives and numerous dear friends

Visitation will be 5:00 – 7:00 PM Monday, October 12, 2020 at Crofts – Crow Funeral Home in Blanco where a Rosary will be held that evening at 7:00 PM.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM Tuesday, October 13, 2020 at St. Ferdinand Catholic Church, 25 Main St., Blanco, TX 78606.  Rite of interment will follow in St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
