Charles Edward Pflueger, Jr., 66 of Johnson City, Texas passed away on Saturday, July 15 ^th in Austin after a long hard fight with cancer. Born on April 4, 1951 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania to Charles E. Pflueger and Rosemary W. (Letson) Pflueger Michaleson, he moved to Texas a short time ago and loved the Hill Country and its people. Charlie worked as a self taught computer programmer/installer for many years at many companies including Blue Cross/Blue Shield and as an independent contractor to the military. Independence and a strong will defined his character as well as a wry sense of humor.  His interests included music (especially guitar), cars, driving, anything mechanical, training his dog Crystal, and learning.  Charlie had a photographic memory and seemed to be a walking encyclopedia.  He will be missed by his sister and brother-in-law, Karen and Ed Gordesky, and his extended family in Arizona and Pittsburgh.

Visitation will be on Thursday, July 20, 2017, from 5 to 7:00 PM at Crofts – Crow Funeral Home in Johnson City, Texas.
