Charles Russell Singleton, 56, passed away at his sister's home in New Braunfels, April 17, 2007. As a fifth generation resident of Blanco, Chris was active in many civic activities including serving as President of the Blanco EMS. His grandmother donated the land for the Episcopal Church. He was an accomplished shooter and loved his guns as well as his ranching on Singleton Mountain.He is survived by his wife, Dana; two sons, Robert and Patrick, all of Blanco; brother, Douglas of Albuquerque, NM; and a sister, Gail Johnson of New Braunfels.Graveside services for Chris were held at the Blanco Cemetery on Friday, April 20, 2007 at 10:00 A.M.The family asks that donations be made to the Dare Program or The Humane Society.  Condolensces to csingleton@croftsfuneralhome.com
