We would like to extend gratitude to Knopp 2 Nursing Home: The care by the nursing and aide staff helped maintain as healthy and prolonged life as possible all while providing the best and most loving care available.
Dale enjoyed eating, ice fishing or 'South Texas Ice' fishing, hunting, his Detroit Tigers and westerns especially anything starring his hero John Wayne. He had many sayings he was quick to interject over the years. Here are our favorites, hope you can hear him saying them: "What the devil!" "Hey there kiddo!" "Hey there young feller." "Here's looking at you going down me!" (for a toast) "Doesn't take a gardener to tell that from a rose." "Jerk the slack out of your line." "Ahh, just resting my eyes." "If that comes up again we will both vote on it." "Little whipper snapper."
