Daniel "Kenneth" Holliday , 85 of Spring Branch, Texas passed away on Friday, December 14, 2018, at North Central Baptist Hospital in San Antonio, Texas.
Ken was born on October 12, 1933, in Gorman, Texas to Ruth Miller Holliday and Daniel Roy Holliday. He was a veteran of the United States Coast Guard during the Korean Conflict and was a retired Social Worker and an assistant Professor at Sam Houston State University where he earned his Master's Degree.
Survivors include his wife of thirty-seven years, Marianne Hickl Holliday of Spring Branch; son, Mitchell L. Holliday of Normangee, Texas; daughter, Carla Dianne Mallin of Killeen, Texas; half-brother, Gregory Holliday; grandchildren, Christopher Holliday and his wife Jenny, Cody Holliday and his wife Brandy Holliday, Jessica Holliday, Brad Holliday, Scott Holiday, Channing Mallin Lagua and her husband John Rey, Paul Mallin and Alexander Mallin; great grandchildren, Hunter Holliday, Cole Holliday, Bailey Holliday, Chandler Holliday, Noa Mitchell Mallin, Karlee Mallin and Esse Elizabeth Lagua.
A Rosary will be held at 11:20 a.m. Friday, December 28, 2018, at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Spring Branch with a Memorial Mass of Christian Burial to follow at 12:00 p.m. Friday at the Church. Cremation Burial will follow at the St. Joseph Catholic Church Cemetery under the direction of Crofts-Crow Funeral Home in Blanco, Texas.
