Denise Ardell Kizer of Johnson City, TX went to be with her Lord and Savior Monday, September 19, 2022 in Austin, TX with her family at her side.  Denise was born May 18, 1951 in Los Angeles, CA to James Robert Davis and Nola Vern (DeChain) Davis.

Denise was preceded in death by her parents and one great grandchild River Travis Dees.  She is survived by her three children, Michael Bassett, Kelly Bassett and husband Roger Martinez, and Coltin Kizer and wife Dinchen; sister, DeeDee McKennis; grandchildren, Tony, Bailey, Jacqueline, Whitney, Alicia, Claire, and Ella; and greatgrandchildren, Cooper, Bentley, Silas, Haydin, Ava, Zerriya, and Khorbin.  She will also be missed by a host of loving nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and dear friends.

Visitation will be 5:00 – 7:00 PM Monday, September 26, 2022 at Crofts – Crow Funeral Home in Johnson City, TX.  Graveside services will be held with Pastor Jimmy Boatright officiating, 11:00 AM Tuesday morning at Stanley Family Cemetery.
