Denny Wayne Stevenson age 77 of Johnson City, TX, passed away peacefully Thursday morning, March 30, 2017. He was born November 2, 1939 in Johnson City to Wilbur Dennis Stevenson and Olivia Juanita Haley Stevenson.  Denny was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Tommy Nell Terry.

He is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Jan Ross Stevenson.  They were married December 25, 1976.  His surviving children include four sons, Tony and wife Gayla, Shannon and wife Mary, Wynn and wife Kathy and Chris and wife Holly; stepdaughter, Karen Franz and husband Gary; stepson Ronnie Jackson and wife Jennifer.  Denny is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and many other loving relatives and friends.

Visitation will be 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM Thursday, April 6, 2017 at Crofts – Crow Funeral Home in Johnson City where funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM Friday, April 7, 2017 in Crofts – Crow Chapel with Rev. Ernest Topper officiating.  Interment will follow in the Johnson City Masonic Cemetery.

Many know that he was an avid and enthusiastic hunter.  As a final tribute to Denny Wayne, his family would like friends and family to wear camouflage if possible to his service.
