Dolores Hendrix Steffens Bevers of Blanco, TX passed away in Fredericksburg, TX Sunday, July 18, 2021.  Dolores was born August 4, 1932 in Houston, TX to Mervin Brisco Hendrix and Mildred Pauline (Wamsley) Hendrix.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Ray Steffens.  Dolores is survived by her son Bobby DeWayne Steffens; sister, Charlotte Byus and husband Rob; two nieces, Dianne Hendricks and husband Chris, and Pauline Rene Turner and husband Jason "Oscar".  She is also survived by five great nieces and nephews and many cousins and dear friends.

Dolores was a member of St. Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church in Blanco and the Blanco Chapter #934 of Order of Eastern Star.  She had a special group of friends she played cards with on a regular basis.  Her favorite place to be was floating the Comal River.  She always caught the biggest fish of the group.

Visitation will be 5:00 – 7:00 PM, Friday, July 23, 2021 at Crofts – Crow Funeral Home in Blanco.  Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Saturday, July 24, 2021 in Blanco Historic Cemetery.
