On January 28, 2021, with her loving husband Rob at her side, Donna Chester took the hand of Jesus and stepped into heaven.

Donna was a devout Christian, a kind and generous woman who had a wonderful sense of humor, told those she cared about most what they needed to hear, not what they wanted to hear, and was very much loved.  She enjoyed being involved with her church, especially in the choir.  She enjoyed raising horses, riding motorcycles and traveling with her beloved husband Rob, especially in the Blue Ridge Mountains.

Donna lived the rule that you reap what you sow and taught her children to love the Lord, and not to live by your emotions.

Donna led an exciting career as a dental tech, veterinary tech, and was a lead administrator for the Fire Chief of the Greensboro Fire Department in North Carolina prior to her retirement in 2016.  She brought joy with her every day to her co-workers.

Donna leaves behind her beloved husband Robert Chester, her father, Welcome Eddy, her sister, Monica Jones, her loving daughters & sons in law, Megan Chester (Brandon Richert), Crystal Blackford (Thomas), her much loved son Scott Chester (Deborah), her darling grandsons; Aiden, Ezra, and Uriah and beloved granddaughter Alexus, and the many friends she has made throughout the years.

Visitation and the celebration of life for Donna will be held at Crofts-Crow Funeral Home on 911 Mesquite, Blanco, TX on Tuesday, February 2, 2021 from 6:00 – 8:00 pm.

Funeral services for Donna will be held on Wednesday, February 3, 2021 at 11:00 am, in the Chapel at Crofts-Crow Funeral Home, 911 Mesquite, Blanco, TX.
