Dorothy Mae (Rommel) Evans passed away on October 11, 2021, at the age of 101 in Dripping Springs, TX. She is preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Charles Russell Evans.  She leaves behind 2 children (Ronnie Evans of Bryan, TX and Candy Panto of Dripping Springs, TX), 5 grandchildren, and 9 great grandchildren.

Dorothy was born in The Heights in Houston, TX on November 28, 1919. She graduated from Reagan High School in 1937 where she was a member of the Red Coats.  She married the love of her life, Russell, on June 1, 1946.  She worked many years as a bookkeeper and was a devoted mother to Ronnie and Candy. For 25 years she was a resident of Country Place in Pearland, TX where she enjoyed playing bridge, happy hour, traveling, and being retired.

A graveside service will be held at 2:30PM Monday, October 18 ^th at Brookside Memorial Park Cemetery in Houston.
