Douglas Dalton Buchholz, 90, of Eldorado, TX passed away July 23, 2013 in Eldorado. He was born in Loyal Valley, TX to Felix Robert and Donie Keyser Buchholz.
Douglas proudly served his country with the U.S. Navy during WWII. He was a member of several ranching organizations such as the Texas Sheep & Goat Raisers and Independent Cattle Raisers. He also served on the board of Soil and Water Conservation as well as many others.
Mr. Buchholz was preceded in death by his parents, brother, Gordon Buchholz, and his loving wife Inez. He is survived by his two sons, David Buchholz and wife Mary Carol of Dripping Springs and Bob Buchholz and wife Mary of Eldorado, TX. Douglas is also survived by five grandchildren, Frances, Mary Margaret, Robert, Dalton, and Franklin; and other loving relatives and dear friends.
Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM Monday, July 29, 2013 at Crofts ? Crow Funeral Home in Johnson City where funeral services wil begin at 10:00 AM in the chapel. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM that afternoon at Trinity United Methodist Church Cemetery in Castell, TX.
