Early Louise Givens, 79, of Pasadena, passed away on Wednesday, April 19, 2006 in Houston. Early was born April 13, 1927 in Lampasas, Texas to the late E.E. and Ethel Mauldin. Early is preceded in death by her husband in 1988, J.D. Givens and her sister, Judy Didway. Early leaves behind to cherish her memory her children, Jimmy Givens and his wife Sharon and Denise Ashworth and her husband Rusty; brother William Mauldin and his wife Boots; 4 grandchildren, Kim Givens-Bang and her husband Jesper, Dusty, Randi, Marissa Ashworth; great grandchild, Danika Bang; her longtime running buddy, D.H. Grogans; along with a host of other loving family members and friends. Visitation will be Thursday, April 20, 2006 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Grand View Funeral Home, 8501 Spencer Highway, Pasadena. Funeral services will be held at 1 PM Sat. April 22, 2006 at the Crofts Funeral Home in Johnson City, burial will follow in the Miller Creek Cemetery in Johnson City.
