Elaine Sue Eichmann Hanus passed away on October 30, 2017 in Fort Worth, Texas after a lengthy illness.  She was born November 29, 1956 in Alice, Texas to Carlos Eichman and Juanita Johnson Eichman. Elaine was preceded in death by her father, Carlos Eichman; mother, Juanita Schmidt; and two brothers, Kenneth and Wayne Eichman.

She is survived by her husband Gerald Hanus of 22 years; sons Gregory David, Jr. and wife Jennifer of Hutto; John David and wife Natasha of Fort Worth; one daughter, Lisa David Gereszek of Cedar Park; grandchildren, Michaela, Haleigh, Tyler, Alyson, Sierra, Hunter, and Layla; great grandchildren Ariella and Paxton. Also surviving is sister, Sherry Bitzkie of Johnson City; brother, Eddie Eichman of Dallas; aunt, Shirley Weirich and husband Leroy of Johnson City, along with several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Graveside service will be Saturday, November 11, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Miller Creek Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the American Diabetes Association, the American Heart Association, or the organization of your choice.
