Faye Joann Tanner, 78, of Fredericksburg passed away Saturday, August 3, 2013 in Fredericksburg. She was born in Austin, TX to Ivy Owen and Opal Fay Harrison Owen. Joann was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Oliver "Jimmy" Tanner; their son, Kenneth Tanner; and her brother, Norman Owen. She is survived by sister in law, Mary Louise Owen; brother in law, Wayne Tanner and wife Dorothy; also by grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other loving relatives and friends.
Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM Wednesday, August 7, 2913 at Crofts ? Crow Funeral Home in Johnson City. Graveside services will follow at 11:00 AM that morning at the Christadelphian Cemetery in Hye, TX.
