A life well lived! When Franklin Moore "Fuzzy" Reagor left this world on Tuesday, September 12th, his work here was finished. He told us he had lived a good life. There was nothing left unsaid or undone. No fear. He knew where he was going and he was ready.

Fuzzy was born in Llano, Texas, on March 24, 1943. He was the youngest of three children born to Franklin Caple Reagor and Blanche Elizabeth Moore Reagor. Along with older brothers John Charles and Billy Harve, Fuzzy completed their family of five. His mother nicknamed him Fuzzy and it stuck. She later disliked it and was the only one to call him Franklin throughout his life.

Fuzzy was curious by nature. He had vast knowledge of many subjects and his retention was uncanny. Many will tell you from experience that debating Fuzzy Reagor probably wouldn't end well. Early in life, it was formal education and later he loved Google and maps. He graduated from Llano High School in 1961. He worked his way through Texas A&M and graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Animal Husbandry in 1965. During his years in College Station he was very active, and successful, on the Texas A&M Meat Judging Team. The friendships he built during those years continued throughout his life. In 1978, he earned his master's degree from the Southwest School of Banking at SMU.

In 1964, Fuzzy married Gene Hall. Together, they had four children- Deanne, Kip, Jill and Kristen. Fuzzy took a position as Assistant County Agent in Tulia, Texas, in 1967. They remained in the Panhandle until 1984. During that time, Marvin Carlile saw talent and potential and offered Fuzzy a job at The First National Bank. He started helping with agricultural loans and was the Executive Vice President when Fuzzy left to take the role of President at Farmer's National Bank in Seymour, Texas. Fuzzy attributed much of his success to Mr. Carlile and always had a picture of him in his office. The Reagor Family spent five years in Seymour where the oldest three children graduated from high school.

Fuzzy spent the last 34 years of his life in his hometown of Llano, Texas, where he held the positions of CEO, Vice Chairman of the Board, President and Senior Trust Officer at Arrowhead Bank. Near the end of his life, he stepped back but he was still considered the "head honcho" and bank employees always knew he was a phone call away. Fuzzy was a "fixer" for his family and in his profession. He was tough but masterful at helping people grow and inspiring and instilling confidence. He was a true banker and bet on people and their integrity and character.

While Fuzzy's primary profession was banking, he never strayed from his roots in agriculture. Evenings and weekends were spent farming and ranching. His incredible work ethic, his pride and his humility will be remembered by all of those who were close to him.

In 2003, Fuzzy married Mary Moursund. They shared many passions and philanthropic endeavors, but family was the most important thing to them both. In addition to his children, Albert and Autumn Moursund were two of the most special people in his life.

Fuzzy is survived by his wife Mary; his four children Deanne, Kip, Jill and Kristen; his six grandchildren Avery, Spencer, Hadley, Madi, Thomas and Ayden; his brother Billy; his nieces and nephews Albert, Autumn, Ariel, Dean, Rodney, Tiffany, Julie, Vickie and Tamie; his in-laws Judy, Marjorie, Will, Ingrid, Monte and Lorena.

Preceding him in death were his parents Frank and Blanche Reagor and his brother John Reagor.

We will pay tribute to the memory of this true Hill Country gentleman on Saturday, September 23rd at 11am at the John L Kuykendall Event Center in Llano.
