Fritz Joseph Kuebel, Jr. passed away Tuesday morning, May 30, 2017 at the age of 83.  He was born January 9, 1934 in Fredericksburg, TX to Fritz J. Kuebel, Sr. and Estella (Knopp) Kuebel.

For most of his life, Fritz was a farmer and rancher all the while holding jobs off the ranch such as surveying and road construction, Blanco National Bank, meat processor, ranch foreman for the Barnhart Ranches, and many years with Klepac Nurseries.  Fritz was drafted into the U.S. Army in June of 1957 and honorably discharged in August of 1958.

Mr. Kuebel was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Emmie Lee Ruppel and brother in law, Joe Ruppel.

He is survived by his loving wife of sixty years, Hazel Jane Kuebel (Bourgeois); children, Cecilia Ware of Schertz, Mark Kuebel (Donna) of New Braunfels, Perry Ann Kuebel (Walter Scott) of Seguin, and Larry Kuebel (Kay) of Blanco; grandchildren, Brittney Ware Carrasco (George), Kendall Kuebel Turner (Howie), and Kane Kuebel, Mark Joseph, Carlie Ann, and Colten Kuebel; great grandchildren, Kaysen and Henley Turner.

A Rosary will begin at 5:00 PM, Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Crofts – Crow Funeral Home, 911 Mesquite St., Blanco, TX 78606, followed by visitation until 7:00 PM.

Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM, Friday, June 2, 2017 at St. Ferdinand Catholic Church, 25 Main St., Blanco, TX 78606.  Interment will follow in the Beck – Kuebel Cemetery near Blanco.
