Gary Sankey, 58, of Schertz, Tx passed away on Thursday, August 29, 2014 at his home. Visitation will be on Monday September 1, 2014 at Crofts ? Crow Funeral Home in Johnson City from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Services will be held on Tuesday at 10:00 AM in the Crofts ? Crow Funeral Chapel in Johnson City, Tx, burial will follow in the Christadelphian Cemetery under the direction of Crofts ? Crow Funeral Home in Johnson City.

Gary was born on April 3, 1956 in Austin, Texas to Roger Duane and Sarah A. (Henderson) Sankey. He met and married Beverley (Tabor) Sankey on November 12, 1988. Gary worked as a mechanic and as a welder, as well as being a jack of all trades. He was preceded in death by his father Roger Sankey, and a brother Mark Sankey.

Survivors include; his wife Beverley Sankey of Schertz, his mother Sarah A. Sankey of Schertz, a son, Gregg Sankey and wife Krysten of Michigan a daughter Amy Sankey of Lampasas, a brother Roger Gregg Sankey of Georgia and two grandsons; Jace Sankey and Cameron Jenks. Several nieces and nephews and other extended family and friends as well.
