Gary Lee Weaver, 65, passed away Sunday, March 24, 2013 in Kerrville, TX. Gary was born in Omaha, NE to Joe Weaver and Margaret Stant Weaver. He was preceded in death by his father, is survived by his mother; his loving wife of 25 years, Greta Leidy Weaver, two daughters, Jean Carolyn Weaver and Margaret Jane Weaver; and one son, Noah Lee Weaver. Gary is also survived by brothers, sisters, and many other relatives and friends.
Gary proudly served his country with the U.S. Army during Vietnam. His courage and bravery was exemplified during his three tours in Vietnam where he was injured several times and was consequently awarded the Purple Heart.
A graveside service will be held at 11:45 AM, Monday, April 1, 2013 at Fort Sam Houston National Cemetery, 1520 Harry Wurzbach Rd., San Antonio, TX 78209.
