Gertrude Marie (Trudy) Van Riper, 75 years old, passed away in her home in Johnson City on July 7, 2005. She is survived by her son Daniel Van Riper of Johnson City; two brothers, Robert L. Lackey of Monticello, Arkansas, and Glen Lackey of Kerrville, Texas; one sister, Ruth Lindecker of D'Hanis, Texas. No services are planned at this time. Arrangements entrusted to Crofts Funeral Home in Johnson City.
