Gladys Bigden Stone, 107, of Fredericksburg, TX, formerly of Blanco, died peacefully Sunday, November 8, 2015.

She was involved with Bigden Insurance Agency many years. She was a faithful member of First Baptist Church of Blanco until moving to Fredericksburg. She was an accomplished pianist, organist, and violinist. She played in the Fredericksburg Orchestra until she was 100.

She was preceded in death by husbands; Robert A. Bigden, Jr., Bill Stone, and G. L. Tatom, two grandchildren, Michelle Tatum & Leighton Tatum, a sister, Grace Lawson, and a stepdaughter, Vickie Stone Moss, and a son-in-law, Charles Tatum.

She is survived by a daughter, Carol Joan Bigden, three stepdaughters, Velda Stone Davidson, Verlena Stone Davidson, & Vonna Stone Downs along with their husbands, a niece, Laura Chrisly, & a nephew, Kenneth Larson. She is also survived by many step grandchildren, great grandchildren, great great grandchildren, & one great great great grandchild.

Services will be held at the First Baptist Church of Blanco on Tuesday, November 17th at 2 PM, and visitation will be at Crofts - Crow Funeral Home on Monday November 16th from 5:00 PM till 7:00 PM.

Burial will follow in the Blanco Cemetery.
