Guadalupe Romero Barrera was born December 12th 1959 in Hamlin, TX to Arturo and Dominga Romero.  At the age of two she moved to Blanco, TX. She met Jesus Barrera when she was a teenager while attending school in Blanco who would become the love of her life. She would later marry Jesus in June of 1977. She graduated Class of 1978 as a Blanco Panther. She would come to bless her husband and parents Arturo and Dominga with five children, two sons, Angel and Carlos and three daughters Becky, Raquel and Diana. Her children would help her to be one of the kindest warmest most devoted Grandma's to 12 grandkids. Anyone that knew her will always remember her warm hugs, positive spirits and welcoming smile she will be greatly missed. We love you mom. You shall be greatly missed.. BUT NEVER FORGOTTEN.

Visitation will be Thursday, January 25, 2018 at Crofts – Crow Funeral Home with a Rosary at 7:00 PM that evening.  Funeral mass will be celebrated at 11:00 AM Friday at St. Ferdinand Catholic Church in Blanco with Rev. Richard Tijerina as Celebrant.  Rite of committal will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
