Guy George Campbell , of Spring Branch, TX, passed away on May 15, 2024, in San Antonio. Born on January 3, 1943, in San Antonio to Ybur and Dorothy Campbell, Guy had a life filled with hard work, dedication, and love for his family.
After graduating from Edgewood High School, Guy proudly served in the U.S. Navy for 3 years before embarking on a 35-year career with Southwestern Bell Telephone Co. Following retirement, he ventured into his own business, Cabinets of Distinction, where he poured his heart and soul into his craft, showcasing his talents by leaving behind beautiful creations such as the sign for St. Ferdinand Catholic Church in Blanco and the steeple at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery.
Guy was deeply involved in his community as a member of St. Ferdinand Catholic Church and the Knights of Columbus, finding joy in giving back and connecting with others. When not working or volunteering, he cherished moments spent with his loving family.
Preceded in death by his wife, Denise Catherine Campbell, their daughter, Jeanne Eileen Campbell, his parents, Ybur and Dorothy Campbell, and his sister Ellen Ann Campbell, Guy is survived by his children, Chris Campbell (Carri) and Shannon Chastain, six grandchildren, Jeffrey Rios, Jessica Rios, Ryan Steinberg, Christina Chastain, Peyton Campbell, and Hunter Campbell, along with his great-grandchild, Karsyn Rios.
The Campbell family invites friends and loved ones to attend the graveside services, which will be held at St. Mary's Catholic Cemetery in Blanco, Texas on Wednesday, May 22, 2024, at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the Bulverde Humane Society, P.O. Box 50, Bulverde, TX 78163.
Guy's legacy of hard work, dedication, and love will forever live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
