Henry Martin Earley, 71, of Waco, Texas was killed in a tragic accident on Wednesday, June 11, 2014. Martin was the youngest son of Viola Griffin Earley and Wilburn Earley of Johnson City, Texas. Martin was raised in Johnson City, and graduated from Johnson City High School in 1961. He went on to receive a degree in education from Sam Houston State College in Huntsville, Texas and a Master's degree in education administration from Stephen F. Austin State University in Nacogdoches, Texas. His career was in the field of education and he taught for many years.
Martin is survived by his sister, Carol Dodd of Waco, Texas, three children Marti Spruiell of Fredericksburg, Texas, Michael Earley of Johnson City, Texas and Morgan Davis of Fredericksburg, Texas. He also leaves behind 5 grandchildren: Coy Earley, Jackie, Tyler and Caroline Earley, Sutton Davis and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Graveside services are planned for Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at the Masonic Cemetery in Johnson City, Texas.
