HERBERT HAROLD RIETZ, 60, of Marble Falls, died July 26, 2005. A memorial service will be held at 10 am at the Spicewood Baptist Church on Tuesday, August 2, 2005. Mr. Rietz was born February 14, 1945, in San Antonio, Texas. He married Sheila Hardcastle of Austin in 1965. Later divorced, he married Pam Archer in 1987. Herbert served in the Army at the Nike Missile Base and belonged to the Sharp Shooter Team where he proudly won National Top Marksman Honors. He has lived in the Texas Hill Country most of his life working mostly as a land surveyor. He enjoyed hunting and working on his land with some cattle. He is preceded in death by his mother, Mary Ellen Orsak. He is survived by his three daughters, Janell and her husband, Cary Windham of Canyon, Shelbie and her husband, Jamie Akers of Austin, and Devin Rietz of Spicewood.
