Horace Hale Perry , 86, of Johnson City passed away on Thursday, April 18, 2019, at Baylor Scott and White Hospital in Marble Falls, Texas.

Horace was born on April 23, 1932, in Austin, Texas to Della Mae Ross Perry and Horace H. Perry, Sr.  He was a retired plumber and musician who played for various artists such Ray Price and numerous other celebrities.  Horace liked to hunt and fish and spend time with his family.  He attended church with his family at Hye Baptist Church in Austin where his father was the pastor at along with many other churches in the Austin area.

Survivors include his step-children, numerous nieces and nephews and a cousin, Helen Joyce of Johnson City, Texas.  Horace was preceded in death by his father Horace H. Perry, Sr. and Della Mae Perry; son, Horace James Perry; brother E.W. Perry and sisters Mary Lee Crow and Dorothy Turner.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 11, 2019, at Lytton Springs Cemetery located at 245 Memorial Drive; Dale, TX 78616.
