Hristo Edouard Varhochkov was born on December 23, 1935 in Sofia, Bulgaria and went to be with the Lord on April 17, 2022.

He is survived by his wife Nezabravka, his son Michael and daughter-in-law, Elizabeth Pavlov, Patricia Ryan, grandson Chey Perrin and his wife Pam, granddaughter Diana Fleming and her husband Scott, grandson Michael Pavlov and Olivia Longely, Jamie and Ashley McBride, great grandchildren Sache and Enzo Perrin, Scotty Fleming and his wife Jasmine, Luke, Nevin, and Violet Fleming, Luke Pavlov, Daniel and Davian McBride in Texas. In Bulgaria, brother Alexander Varhochkov and his wife Ellie, nephew Eddie Varhochkov and his wife Svetla, great nephews, Alexander Varhochkov and Boncho Varhochkov and his wife Sylvia. In Germany, niece, Maria Erxleben and her husband Gunnar, and great nieces Ani and Lisa.

Hristo finished high school in Sofia, Bulgaria, and then achieved a degree in civil engineering. He started his college studies in Vienna, Austria and after being recalled by the Bulgarian communist authorities finished his degree in Sofia.

Hristo met his wife Nezabravka in 1982 and in 1993 they moved to the United States to join Michael and Elizabeth for their new life in Texas. He loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and joined Him on Resurrection Day 2022 surrounded by his loving family.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM Thursday, April 21, 2022 at the Ryan Ranch Cemetery with Rev. Carlos Cloyd officiating.
