Ima Hoffman Smith, age 88, of Blanco went to be with her Lord on May 20, 2006. Born in Blanco, Texas, she was the daughter of John and Elizabeth Einkauf Hoffman. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother, as well as a faithful member of the Church of Christ where she fulfilled the role of Bible School teacher for many years. Embroidery work, quilting and cooking were the things Ima liked to do best, and was always among the first to arrive with food at the home of the ill or bereaved. Always putting others first is how she is fondly remembered. Ima was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Smith, her twin brother Homer Hoffman, and two sisters, Maude Finch and Leona Hoffman. She is survived by her only child, Jack Shelton and wife Margaret; four granddaughters: Tavia Smith of Blanco, Sandra and husband Larry Davis, Brackettville, Linda and husband John Reagan, Knippa, Danah and husband Justin McClelland, Blanco. There are six Great-grandchildren: Cody and Chelsea Reagan, Samantha and Shaun Davis, Dustin McClellan and Kyle Davis. Funeral services will be 10:00 am Wednesday, May 24 at Crofts Funeral Home, Blanco with Joe O'Bannon and Michael Bryan officiating. Burial will follow in the Blanco Cemetery
