Irmgard Margaret Brandt Weber was born April 13, 1920 in Bremerhaven, Germany to Fritz and Johanne Brandt, and passed away Sunday, February 19, 2006 at Texsan Heart Hospital in San Antonio.Irmgard is survived by her husband of 58 years, Arvin; one daughter, Karen and her husband, Stan Steiger of San Antonio; one son, Kent and his wife Denise of Blanco; six grandchildren: Andrew Steiger, Elizabeth Steiger, Bryan Weber, Tristan Weber and his wife, Denisa, Megan Weber, and Kirstan Weber; sister-in-law, Gertrude and her husband Francis Francis Hartmann; sister-in-law, Lillian Weber; four nieces and 6 nephews.Irmgard was a member of Trinity Lutheran Church, Blanco Bowling Club, and The Sons of Hermann.Funeral services were held Wednesday, February 22 at 10:00 a.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church with Pastor Bill Krejci officiating. Interment followed in the Blanco Cemetery. Pallbearers were her grandchildren.Irmgard will be remembered by her friends and family for her crocheted dollies and pot holders, her pear cake, and her spry, sociable, self-assured personality.
