Jack "Jackie" Smith, 79 of Blanco passed away on Friday, January 16, 2015. Visitation will be on Tuesday, January 20, from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Crofts ? Crow Funeral Home in Blanco and services will be on Wednesday, January 21 at 2:00 PM at Crofts ? Crow Funeral Chapel in Blanco with burial to follow in McKinney Cemetery.

Jack was born on July 27, 1935 in Blanco County, to Goldwin and Beulah (Edmondson) Smith. He attended school in Blanco and worked on farms and for PEC for 13 years and for a fertilizer company in Lockhart for several years. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Jack is survived by two sons; William Robert "Rob" Smith of Virginia Beach, VA, and Craig Harlin Smith and wife Sandra of Waller, Tx. Two daughters; Janeen Smith and Robin Burrier both of Austin, Tx., two brothers; David Smith of Blanco and Dennis Smith and wife Mary Ann of Cypress, Tx. Eight grandchildren; Brian, Katie, Madeline, Gary, Ben, Josie, Neely and Lola. Numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
