Jackie Lynn Magee Martin

July 21, 1956 - July 7, 2020

On the morning of Tuesday July 7, 2020, my mom passed away.  I say my mom, but Jackie Lynn Magee Martin was a mother to so many people.  She was the center of our universe, and just like the sun she was an unstoppable force who surrounded those she knew with her warmth and love.  She was valued by the community through her good works and efforts protect children.  She touched and changed so many lives in her short 63 years here on earth. She was proceeded in death by her father, Charles Morris Magee, her sister Bobbie Ann Magee and her granddaughter Nova Lynn Newman.  She left behind a huge family that included: her husband, Kevin Martin: daughter and son-in-law Dominique and Bobby Newman: sons and daughter in law K.C. and April Martin, as well as John Roberts; her grandchildren: Sage Newman, Falon Newman, Sylvanas Martin and Alyce Newman.  Her mother Ona Magee and her husband Ray Dixon, and brothers and sisters Peggy and Rex Smith and Jack Stovall as well as many nieces and nephews with countless other friends and family.

Her services will be held at Rocky Community Church in Hye, TX Saturday, July 11, 2020 at 5:00 pm, with a small reception to follow.  If you would like to send flowers you can call AJ's Flowers in Johnson City at (830) 868-2510 or if you would prefer in lieu of flowers please donate to an organization or charity of your choice dedicated to children.
