James "Bear" Hilburn of Johnson City, TX passed away January 26, 2022 at the age of 75 at his home with his loving family by his side.

Bear was preceded by his mother, Pairlee Hilburn, sister, Rose Ellen Olivas, and brother, Sam Williams.

Bear is survived by his wife of 40 years, Cara; two brothers, William and Wesley Spry (Linda). He leaves behind many loving nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, great great nieces and nephews, and many friends.

Bear enjoyed guns, hunting, driving trucks, operating heavy equipment, scooters, and furbaby, Pazoey.
