James Irwin Lietzke, 65, passed away September 26 in Fredericksburg. He was a computer systems salesman until 1995 when he retired to his 55 acres outside Blanco. He fell in love with the hill country while living in Austin. He is survived by a son, Sgt Michael Lietzke, of Ft Bragg, NC. A Memorial service will be held 1:00 PM Thursday, September 28 in the Old Blanco County Courthouse with Master of Ceremonies Malcolm Brown.
