James Franklin Stevenson, 75, of Johnson City, passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2016 in San Antonio, TX.  He was born in Johnson City to Frank and Myrtle Stevenson.  James proudly served his country with the U.S. Army.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Frank Stevenson, Jr.  James is survived by his four children, Sherry Garcia and husband Vivian, James Stevenson, Jr., Nicole Stevenson, and Michael Stevenson; three sisters, Elizabeth Critchley and husband Phillip, Cora Brooks and husband Wilburn, and Lorene Critchley and husband William; five grandchildren, David, Mark, Tyler, Cameron, and Kaitlyn. He is also survived by his former wife and mother of their children, Alice Stevenson as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends

Visitation will be 10:00a – 12:00p, Monday, August 1, 2016 at Crofts – Crow Funeral Home in Johnson City.  Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday at the Masonic Cemetery in Johnson City.
